Quick question for those of you who have installed aftermarket seats...
I bought a set of City Glow seats off Ebay. I fabricated some metal to extend the sliders in order to make them mount to the stock holes.  Problem is that these seats are a bit thicker than stock..and the seating height is about 2'' higher.  Has anyone figured out a way to mount aftermarket seats in a position that makes the seat height "normal"?

Here is what I'm working with...

Did you have electric seats originally? The seat tracks for the electric seat did set the seats up higher than manual seats...
If yours was electric, you may have to install manual seat tracks to get them back down...

No...I had manual seats. I used the sliders that came with the seat...they were only 1/8'' thicker than the stock....but I did utilize my stock sliders to fabricate brackets to mount the aftermarket seats.  I used an angle grinder and cut off the rear mounting bracket from the stock seats.  The front is flat steel bolted to the floor...and then to the aftermarket sliders.
