Vette(s): 1980 Red T-Top with 42000 miles. No modifications and will probably stay that way.
Hello Crew. . .
Another rain soaked weekend so no cruizin' for me. However, I need your help with a transmission problem. The shift indicator in my 1980 doesn't work. . .not that I need to see that it is saying D when I'm going forward but I'd like to have everything working correctly. I checked one of my repair manuals but I didn't see where it addressed this problem. . .your kind assistance is requested.
Thanx!
Doug

You'll need to remove the shifter console cover, and see if the indicator is broken. Is it there, and just not lined up properly, or does the light not shine thru?
