Hello,I am working on my 1975 and I could use some help with the steering column. I have removed the dash to fix my tach and have loosened the two bolts for the steering column at the firewall, so I could have more room to work on the tach and speedo and put new lens in all three tach, speedo and center gauges area. My question is what do I torque the two bolts on the inside of the firewall of the steering column. Thanks Zapparex

If you mean the two bolts/nuts that hold the column to the dash, torque those to 15 ft-lbs.

Thanks Adams Apple, You are talking about the nuts at the firewall I hope, because the firewall is softer like fiberglass and a plastic cover I think. I am just preparing ahead of time, I still have to test my tach to see if the filter is not sending a signal. " Thanks again" ZAPPAREX
