I voted both.

although I have no intention of modifying the body, GM did that perfectly.Nor would I change the interior except maybe a color change. And that can be reversed easily enough. When it comes to drive train,That`s a different story. Why replace with old technology when you can upgrade to better handling and performance( unless of course you a purist and want to go for Bloomington Gold etc).

I kept my original #`s block,heads,tranny,rearend, but modified all for performance.

Again this is my car and I`m building the Corvette hot rod I always wanted.

No one has ever told  me., your car is nice but it is not originaL.

Enjoy your car and do what you want with it.

I like original vettes, custom vettes, old vettes, new vettes, I like

all vettes and could be happy with just about any vette, but I

purchased a custom vette because it was a little different and had a

unusual color, but mostly i liked the looks. its all a matter of personal

preference
