We ordered and received a dash pad cover for the 72 from Corvette America. Not rushing is KEY to getting this project right. We ordered the spray adhesive from them however failed to realize we needed the filler for the giant crack from a previous owners failed attempt to replace the pad. “Great Stuff” worked out fine. After cutting away all loose material, sanding, filling cracks with Great Stuff from Home Depot letting it cure for 24 hours then sanding smooth we where ready to actually cover it. Instructions say to start in the middle then do each side. Can’t imagine how this could be done do to the tight fit (even with a heat gun) Sand the inside of the new cover with 60 grit to break the glaze clean both surfaces with alcohol spray on the glue and go. It took two of us massaging this thing tugging and pulling to insure a perfect fit and Man it looks good.

For a hundred bucks you can’t go wrong….Clap

I have several before and after photos I'll be placing on the website shortly. Here in Michigan we have a VERY limited amount of "Vette" day's LOL, so Its outside as much as possible. I'll save the computer stuff for the cold and yucky winter days.
I actually had Thunder Snow for a few minutes on y way in to work today. It's like a super heavy storm only semi frozen...Brrrrrrrrr

Thanks for all of the support, This is an AWESOME place...
