Hello everyone.

I'm very new to corvettes.  I am looking to purchase one very soon.  Just trying to get a little research in.

Can anyone tell me where I can find the numbers of production for a certain color combo.  I've been looking for a good picture of a 76 with Orange Flame and Dark Brown interior and I can't seem to find any.  So I was wondering how rare that combo was.

Please let me know how I can figure this out.

Thanks,
Ron

You can find the total production of paint colors, but not interiors, or combos. That info just has to be "assumed" as the number of original cars with that combo are seen/judged. You can make a guess, if you know how many total were that color, and how many total had that interior, and then average out all the other colors available.
I would guess that the orange paint and brown/tan interior would be the most common combo, considering the available colors that would "co-ordinate" with the orange.(black, tan/brown, white)
I can check the paint numbers when I get home, if no-one else gets that info before then.
Welcome to C3VR, btw!

The "Corvette Black Book" , and the "NCRS Spec Guide" lists the paint codes & # of production for most years, but not all. Not all years have the info available...yet...we still can hope! Adams' Apple2007-04-27 06:18:21

I figured that the dark brown would be popular however the only colors that I have found in an orange vette are black and tan.
What is the "corvette" name for tan?
Colors that I don't know are:
firethorn (I assume red)
buckskin (I assume tan)

I agree the only interior colors for an orange car would be:
black (19V vinyl or 192 leather)
white (15V vinyl or 112 leather)
dk brown (692 leather)
buckskin (64V vinyl or 642 leather) if that is tan.

99% of the orange flame vettes that I've seen have the buckskin interior.  I have seen 1 or 2 blacks and 0 whites or dk browns.

Thanks,
Ron

Buckskin is a tannish color, you are correct. It could also be called Camel in some years...
