How about an auto body supply type place? Some of them have all kinds of different trim screws.

The interior screw kits should have these, as the straps were provided in all of the coupes. The earlier cars had different straps...not a tri-angle type like ours, but they still had the two side anchors. You might give one of the suppliers a call, and ask, to be sure. You'll wind up needing the other screws in the kit sooner or later, anyway!

Vette(s): 1978 Silver Anniversary L82 4-speed, close ratio 07M Paint code. Former owner painted it incorrectly. Not bad paint, but will paint it the RIGHT way down the road.
Thanks Joel.
Will give it a try and see what happens.

If you can't find what you are looking for at the corvette suppliers, look in the yellow pages for industrial supplies or industrial fasteners.  In my part of the country these suppliers are very common and have every type screw you can think of in almost any thread pitch.  If the rear screws are 1/4 inch and fine thread they are probably 1/4 by 28 threads per inch.......unless they are  Censored metric.

I can't imagine you are the only person to need these. Have you tried the obvious suppliers of Corvette parts?  Check our Sponsor list and call each of them. Try Bair's first!

As mentioned above, the 2 front screws are simply chrome sheetmetal screws, same as what is used all over the interior. The ones in the rear, comparing it to the sheetmetal screw in Joel's pic, are probably No 12-24's.
If all else fails, from DocRebuild catalog
Pic seems to show them as all the same. tho.

The AIM gives a part #, but no specs. The part # was 9422205.
