As I have heard from many owners of 1980 Corvettes, the LID on the vanity mirror on mine has broken on one side. I have two questions:
1) What has to be done to remove the LID from the actual vanity mirror? (There seems to be two pins....one on each side, and I am wondering if these SLIDE somehow).
2) Does anyone know where to find an OEM (used) Vanity Mirror...perhaps with complete visor...rather than purchasing an aftermarket replacement?

Thanks for your quick response.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think they(the mirrors) have "snaps" that hold them on...like snaps on a jacket. Should just pop right off. Someone else will know for sure.
