Not up on the mechanics of the later model visors. There is no screw on the end by the hinge?
Ironman's vanity mirror question got me thinking about a problem I am having with my car that I would like to get resolved while its being stored for winter. My vanity mirror iss constantly slipping from the up position to straight down. I can't find an adjustment screw or anything that would make it stay in the up position. Do any of you have any ideas on this? Thanks in advance
Ken,
Check the Bushing. This holds the visor from falling down. It's where the chrome pivot arm attaches to the rod.
If that's not it. Check the chrome pivot arm, 'elbow' that is attached to the t-top holes and sun visor. This frequently breaks.
