Karen,
I'll look around I know in some publication I have seen a leather overlay that straps to highback bucket seats. It looked pretty nice. What color am I looking for (black)?
You aren't the lone rangers girlfriend here.
My oldest daughter is 5'1", 1st time out she ran Tux up and over a curb. . That was prior to the resto work but still made me cringe.

Okay I had a chance to look and found a whole line of available style cushions for you to review. All of these can be used in conjunction with your current seats and removed as us wish.

Here is the link:
Link for seat cushions

Of course I have never been able to insert the links to be clickable so you may need to copy and paste it or if one of the highly paid moderators are watching they will fix this for us.

At any rate I hope this might help you.

Thanks, Tux!  Those look like they have potential.  Just wish they said how thick they were.  Maybe I can find them in an auto supply store.  By the way, the interior is smoked gray.

The other option is to install a power seat.  Those have adjustmente that will raise up as well as forward.

When I'm in the market to replace the seats, where's a good place to look (for the power seats)???

You can look at many sources.  The most cost effective may be looking for a used set, or pair of seats, from a used parts house or wrecking yard.   I have seen C5 seats in a C3.  Looks very nice and will give you the mobility of positions.
