Vette(s): 1968 Safari Yellow Convertible 327/300 HP, 4-Speed, and not much else!
1968, RIGHT VISOR, WON'T STAY UP. I BELIEVE THERE ARE TWO SHORT RODS, ONE EACH END, AND THE SCREWS THAT HOLH IT ON. i WAS TOLD TO REMOVE FROM CAR, PULLL RODS OUT, APPLY SOME DUCT TAPE, REINSTALL, AND THE SCREWS WOULD TIGHTEN IT UP? aNY TRUTH BEFORE i START THIS LITTLE PROJECT? MAYBE A BETTER WAY?

There is a 'VERY' old thread that discusses these in detail, I'll do a bit of hunting and post a link to it if I can find it. However I might get distracted first. I'd reccomend hunting it down before taking things apart. The knowledge is available, so why not use it?

I;\'m not sure but either Ecklers or Mid America sells a visor repair kit which will take cae of the problem |biggrin|
