Vette(s): 1980 L-48 still in the middle of a frame-off.

I am new to this area.  Has anybody ordered parts from Wilcox Wholesale Corvette Parts off of e-bay?  I need a new interior for my 80' L-48 and they seem to have a good price and good feedback.

Vette(s): 1979, 350sb, as my kids affectionately call it "shit brown" Corvette purchased in 1996. 84,000+ miles. Not a show car, but I love her just the same.

I haven't had any dealings with Wilcox...yet...but I know there are some members here who will tell you they have had good experiences with them.

Sure would be nice if you could document the progress of your interior rebuild when you are ready to do it.  It might be nice to see it show up in the Tips and Tricks section of the club.

Wicox is great. I would suggest calling them. They are very helpful and friendly. I bought a dash from them last year, and they advised me on the best product, and gave me a good deal. I was very pleased with them.

I did not know that Wilcox even had an E-Bay store....  HOWEVER
I have ordered interior parts from them for most of my Corvettes..
door panels, pillar posts, etc...   Never been disapointed, but I do remember someone who was not to happy with weatherstripping they got thru Wilcox..(this sticks in my mind because it is the only complaint that I ever heard about Wilcox...

But to be fair I think Wilcox is just a Chevy Dealer that fuctions as a  reseller....

they do not stock anything.. You order Door Panels and Wilcox picks up the phone and calls Auto Accessory of America and has the panels dropped shiped to you...   (at least that who mine came from for both the 72 & 76..and
they were ordered 4-5 years apart)... Price BTW was about 30 percent less then AA of America would sell them to me..

Who they use as a supplier today I have no clue...BUT to my knowledge they use good ones....they almost have too...

Got my interior from them, quite happy. And when I was having heat/
cooling system problems (and inquired about an overflow tank) they
emailed back and forth and helped problem-solve what turned out to be
a timming issue and thus, lost a tank sale. I'm all for them, support a
company who cares
