The top on my 73 has the window heat-fused into the top. It would take a special shop, as noted above, to do it right. On the other hand, the Al Knoch top I bought had the dealer tag sewn into the seam, and date coding was an option that I didn't need. Joe

Give the toothpaste a try. We always used it to take light scratches out of plastic panels. It is a mild abrasive. All I ever used was a small dab of toothpaste and a soft rag and whatever pressure I could apply with my index finger. Rub fast and press hard. Your finger will actually get hot from the friction. At that point it will start working. Just try it on a corner and see how it does.
