Vette(s): 1982 Black, ZZ4, Hooker Side Pipes, 3.55 Rear, Rebuilt & upgraded 700R4, All new suspension, brakes, & new Charcoal interior.
I'm putting in a crate motor and will be selling the crossfire engine or parting it out. Let me know what you need, with an offer, send PM and I'll get back to you ASAP.
All thats left is the intake manifold, the electric fan, and the fan shroud.
I can deliver within about 100 miles of NW Jersey.
Here is photo of engine:
Thanks,
Dave

Did it fit under the '82 hood?
What about the electric fan on the rad.

Well, it "kinda" fit under the hood; probably depends on the intake you choose and the riser height... I used an Performer RPM manifold w/ a Holly carb and had to "notch" the back of the x-fire internal scoop to clear a K&N filter w/ top breather (small diameter..almost looks like the old L-88 setup).  There's not a whole lotta clearance but it will work!!
The fan should work just great as long as you nab the temp sensor off the x-fire block (or get a new one) and use it on the crate engine...should be a plug on the new block that goes into the water jacket that you can unscrew and screw in the sensor.

I just got home from the Chatterbox, it was the last night, man was it packed!
I'm not sure when I'll start, maybe in a week or so.
By the way, the cruise night that was in Flanders will be moving to the Rockaway Mall next year. They are having an un-official one next Wed. night, in the Linens & Things parking lot. Go in the entrance by the Olive Garden and make a left and it's the first lot on the left. I should be there.
If I don't see you there have a good winter!
Dave
