While sorting used parts, I found a pair of used Sports mirrors. They are very nice, electric, and include the wiring harness, but not the switches. Asking $500.00 for the set.

Where would the switches mount and what years were they an option on?

I can't find a source for the switches, but they were in 33,000 cars, so some must be around. Sport mirrors were an option from 77-82, but electric was only available in 81 & 82. The switches are on the console just behind the shifter.

Yep thats it Paul. I had them in my 82 I think it would be a nice addition to your ride as soon as you finish your other project ................Bill

Actually Bill, the thought of taking the glass out of the doors with the paint done horrifies me
And I'd have to get em painted. For a car that might see a couple of thousand miles a year....not sensible...(but then, what is?!?!?
)

Think I'll pass and let someone get better use out of em.
