If anyone is looking to make an upgrade to an aluminium intake Here is an L82 listed on Ebay.

So far it is priced pretty cheap for an aluminium upgrade that is a stright bolt on and Quadrajet ready.

Not necessarily an L82 manifold, but close enough.
It was used from '76-82 on the 305 & 350 engines, on multiple applications, IE: Camaro, Corvette, etc... Still a good buy a $26 (right now).Adams' Apple2009-03-09 10:38:53

Thank you Mr. Joel for pointing that out. I was hoping someone talented would respond. (Maybe verify the authenticity of the intake from the numbers available.)

It IS basically the same design as the "real" L82 manifold, it's just no longer L82 specific after '76-'77, somewhere in there. They just started using it on base engines, too, for the weight savings, and the 5hp gain.

Would that intake work on a '70 base 350ci with a Holley spread bore?
