Vette(s): 1969 Corvette Stingray Convertible. Just bought it from my uncle who owned it since 1971. Fathom green, green interior. 350/300, T400.
I just bought a "Sunpro" copper line set for my stock oil pressure gauge. When I opened it I noticed that the liitle compression fitting is shaped different. The usual one is rounded, kinda barrel shaped. The one in the kit is kinda pointed where it goes in, and flat where the nut presses against it. Are these different fittings compatible with the stock gauge and intake fitting or will I have leaks?
Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt
Working in industry for many years I have seen a lot of
diferent style compression fittings. They all have there
own patented design and usually are not interchangable.
You can try it but be aware that it may not work.
Hope this helps.
