Vette(s): 1978 INDY PACE CAR #3016 of #6502 built. Has original Pace car decals still in GM boxes the way it was delivered to GM dealers. per NCRS "UPDATE" Decals applied as of 3/8/02 (ALL ORIGINAL)
Joem,

A good place to start looking for a 1/18 scale diecast pace car would be E-bay.com . UT models made a vette that is no longer in production, but you can see it for auction on E-bay from time to time. Here is the link to the site.
http://www.ebay.com Hope this helps.

Vette(s):
SOLD - "The Toy" - '70 Convertible
SOLD - "The Beast" - '90 ZR-1 (#682)
SOLD - "Betty" - '28 Ford Model A Tudor
SOLD - "BLKBRRD" - '78 Pontiac Trans Am
"BLUBYU" - '04 Coupe
Joe,

Try diecastmuscle.com. They have a '78 Silver Anniversary listed as in stock (also have several different '78s listed as Sold Out) but might be able to point you somewhere. I've had good dealings with them on several occasions.

Here's a couple I found on eBay (Car 1 & Car 2). I narrowed the basic search criteria down to knock down the number of hits a bit {corvette (1 18,1:18) (78,1978)}.

Vette(s): 1978 Pace Car 1993 40th Anniversary ZR-1 2003 Z06
Do a Google search www.google.com on "UT 1978 Corvette Pace Car" exactly as typed here. I got over 200 hits. A couple I checked were "sold out" but you may well find at least one is available from that listing.

Best of luck!
