Inspect it carefully when you get it!! I have several Franklin Mint cars in my collection, and thought they were fairly good, quality-wise. Then I bought an '82 from them. It came with the rare 'busted t-top' option.
I tried to get them to replace the tops, but they REFUSED. I was told they didn't replace parts, but I could BUY another car, if I wanted.
I was very disappointed, to say the least. I don't buy anything else from them, now. They do have some good cars, but "once bitten, twice shy", for me! My 2c

The first ones had incorrect tires on them, latter corrected. The prices on the secondary market are insane. It's the only 82CE diecast or plastic that I don't have.I even have the monogram 1/8 still in the sealed box.
I just bought a FM Pace Car off eBay. The guy said it is flawless and the pictures sure looked good, I'll let you know how this purchase turns out. Oh ya, this is the 7th different scale 78 Pace Car I've bought. My favorite is the (unopened) Jim Beam Pace Car.cilrah 2007-01-21 17:53:40
