What's the color of our gills?

They look like they are the same dark brown color as on the rest of the car. Are they brown? Do they come brown from like Eckler's or whoever? I also need the crossfire side badges if you know of a good place to get them that won't take forever to get. I need them in about 2 weeks so that they're here when the cars done being painted. If that ever happens! lol

OK Dar, I answered the other thread about this. The gills are black, yours might look brown because of being faded. Sorry to say that the "crossfire injection" badges are discontinued. I got a set off of Ebay that were NOS. I'm afraid that this may be your best bet |frown|

Now don't tell me they are disconntinued! I'll try ebay, any other ideas of where to get them? I guess post on every forum that I know of if I can't find them. |frown|

Dar, I tried every catalog, Dr. Rebuild, www.trimparts.com, etc and I got the same response from everybody. I'll keep an eye out for you, I have some contacts I can check with |biggrin|

The grills are black. But the hex screws are that bronze/brown color. Not black.

I have finally found out the truth. It took 2 weeks, emails, and posts on 3 different places. The gills and the front grilles are black. They do not need to be painted. You can put them right on out of the box. The gills are $51 and change from GM and only take a few days to get.
