Vette(s): L48 coupe, red on red.
I lifted car over weekend and front end needs alot of tlc. Most of the rubber is shot. Considering a C4 conversion. Car is a 20 footer but solid and after trade have 2k invested.

Have you looked at any of the aftermarket suppliers for C3?? I replaced mine with a coilover system from VanSteel. There are some great kits out there to rebuild and update your suspension without trying to do a C4 conversion.

Some members here went with a C3 "Steeroids" upgrade for thier cars. From what I remember they sounded pretty happy with the results.
You can Google the word "Steeroids" here on C3VR and find those threads.
My '79 is simply a "driver." No track time or such. I have a front end rebuild kit with springs that I'll install this year.
Lots of options depending on how you use your Vette. Let us know what you go with.

I went with V.B.P. (Vette Brake Products) Suspension Package. Fully adj. ride height and stiffness. Transverse mounted comp. spring with light weight A-frames. But I'll bet you could find about anything you want amongst our sponsors.
