The attendance seemed to be down a bit but the weather cooperated nicely - Warm to Hot but no rain
We had a great time hanging out at the Parking Spot for the C3VR members - meeting people and sharing information.

Jim, Congratulations on your award. I hope the gal presenting didn't get a Corvette tattoo from your "HOT" side exhaust. Great pic........thanx for posting.

I warned her about as she walked up - I seem to to get branded myself once a year in the begining of the season.
The Car was running and and pretty hot as we sat there so I give her credit for standing that close to them!

I did go. For once my car broke before Carlisle, instead of at Carlisle. My son was able to fix it before I left. The weather was great---not too hot and no rain, but somehow I didn't think it was as good as in years past. As Adam said, he thinks it is getting to be a social event and there were less vendors. Also most of the cars for sale were by Corvette dealers--hardly any private sales it seemed to me. Just my 10 cents worth. Been going 20 years. Kathy
As a first timer to Carlisle we thought it was incredible. Nothing even close to this anywhere around us. We got some pieces for our recently purchased 80 Corvette as well as some trim rings for our 67 non Corvette car. We will go again but will give ourselves more time as we did not see even half of it in the time we had. Maybe next time won't seem so interesting but I guess that's why we always remember the first one.

Can't beat going to a major show and winning an award in the same day. Great Job!
