I was in a hurry to get out of Building T after the show on Sunday.
So in my haste, I left my brand new floor mats, in the cardboard box they came in, leaning up against the wall where I was parked for the weekend.
I didn't realize that I left them there until this morning when I got in the Vette, looked at my old mats and wondered "Where did I put the new ones?"
I remembered putting them up against the wall, but I did not remember putting them in my car.
I thought they would be long gone by now, but I sent an e-mail to Jim Vinarski, Director of Business & Event Development, hoping that someone might have turned them in to lost and found.
Jim immediately went over to Building T and found them still leaning up against the wall where I left them. Am I a lucky SOB or what?
I told Jim I would ask a friend who lives in Carlisle to stop over to pick them up, but Jim offered to mail them to my house.
A half hour later he sent me an e-mail saying they are on the way via UPS.
I can not say enough good words about Carlisle Productions, Lance Miller and the entire staff.
They all go out of their way to make our attendance at Corvettes at Carlisle one to remember.
THANKS Carlisle Productions for another great event.
