WHEW, That was a challenge. FINALLY found out why my wiper motor fried the ground wire. There was a ground wire that was suppose to go on the frame, well I hooked it to the starter main terminal.  All the wires were in on spot so, I hooked them up.  SSSSSSSSSSTTTTT, smoke, stink,OH NO!  I had a diagnostic guru come to the house last nite and we traced/unwrapped wires for about 2 hours till we located it. THANKS CHRIS. Looks like the cruise to CARLISLE will be alot less stressed now that I have wipers. NOT that we wil need them of course. Weather people say it will be a very nice week-end.  See ya all there.  Now if EBO gets here at the correct time the trip will start well.  M-n-S

Mark, glad you found that! I hate that hot electric smell....anywhere be it home garage or vehicle!
Will call you when we get on the road.
Made a decision to drive the car and not trailer, short enough hop without all the hauling worries. Should be able to make much better time and a lot smaller fuel bill!
Weather gods are likin us sunny and 80's till Tuesday! Then rain for the rest of Adams vacationLOL

Ya, that burning wire smell is almost as bad as the raw gas smell I have.  No leaking that I can see anyware.  Maybe the Cannister needs attention??  You know, the one that is down low on the drivers side beneath the Master Cylinder and the cruise control??

Dan'0 find a tall skinny kid in the neighborhood to help you out. The skinny arms get into those areas much easier.LOL
