While we were able to secure our traditional Friday night dinner spot for 2021, the last place we seemed to like for our Saturday night dinner (Homer's BBQ) has permanently closed.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for what we should do for dinner Saturday?

Should we find a new place?
Should we go back to Rustic Tavern?
Should we have a BBQ at our C3VR Parking Space on the fairgrounds?

Reply to this thread to let me know your ideas!

I would like to go someplace for dinner, did not really care for dinner at the site with a plate on my lap (although the drinks were excellent!). I would be open to whatever the others planned. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

How about if we go to that Japanese restaurant where they cook in front of you?

That was a fun dinner. In the food was great.

I agree. I liked that place too. But got comments that it was too pricey.

How about Hickory Ridge restaurant?

1400 Harrisburg Pike, Carlisle 17015

 Similar to Cracker Barrel.
Large menu. Reasonable prices. Most reviews are good.
Would be good to have a local check in out.
Not sure if they take large groups.

Looks like a good choice to me. Though, I'm a bit worried that since we only have 3 people signed up so far for the Friday dinner that Saturday will be just as low.  Where is everyone!?

Since the venue has changed for what days the event is open, you may want to change to a Thursday/Friday dinner.

We will not be going to the field on Saturday just Thursday and Friday.... just a thought.

Interesting point. I'll certainly look into that for next year.

Looks like for this year, 2021, we'll just be doing the Friday group dinner.
