Well, I goofed up! I schedule a beach vacation with my family for 8/28-9/4/2010.
So, I'm thinking maybe I could go up to Carlisle Thursday evening as usual to set up. Work the both on Friday. Hang out with the C3VR folk on Friday night and head home Saturday morning to pack up my family and head to the beach. But the problem with that is I'd either have to break down Friday and miss two days of the show, which would really be pointless to come at all, or I'd have to get volunteers to man the booths (C3/C4/C6 VRs) on Saturday and Sunday, including breaking down. And the final issue is getting all the stuff off the fairgrounds, and I'm assuming Jeff Hmel would let me store the stuff at his house till I could come get it. But getting the stuff to his house could be an issue, since everyone has Vettes.
Crap!

I don't know what do to. Should I just not go to Carlisle this year? It was the only show I was going to attend in 2010.

Sounds like someone needs a C3VR Member's Calender, to keep up with stuff like this...
Seriously, tho, that's a bummer. Of course, I'm not gonna be there, so I can't help out, but there's gotta be some of the fine C3VR family folks here that will pitch in and help...right?

I would be happy to help out with the break-down and maybe a couple of shifts in the booth. My wife and I plan to be there Thurs. night thru Sun. afternoon. We are planning to trailer our 78 S.A.(we don't quite trust the car enough to drive it the 500 mi. round trip). It would not be a problem hauling the booth stuff somewhere in Carlisle.
Dave

I am planning to be there Thursday through Sunday morning, so I can take a couple of shifts on Friday and Saturday.

I'll help with teardown as always, but I'll have to wait and see what shift I can work. Can't wait!

So Adam, did you make a decision yet?
Did you reschedule the beach vacation?
