I've got a brain fart going here...what vendor(s) will bring your order to Carlisle during corvette weekend? I need one taillight mounting screw and am not willing to fork over $6 for a set of 8 plus $8 for shipping seems to be a bit of over kill on the shipping.

Should be able to get the screws at any number of vendors out there without having to order them.

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
If you cannot find them let me know I will get you a used set and send them US postage. I really hate it when the postage cost more than the part.

Thanks Gil, I'll let you know. I'm still trying to make it to Carlisle this year. Hopefully I'll make it and be able to pick up those little things to help me finish.

Personally, I would ditch the factory screws! I did on mine! Found a set of stainless steel screws the same size and they look PERFECT! And they won't rust!

If you aren't able to make it to Carlisle let me know what you need or order it and pay for it and I will pick it up there and bring it back with me to NY. I'm offering to help since your only a couple towns over from West Seneca.

Barry, I followed your advice. I found some stainless 2 1/4" size 10's and the fit like perfectly.
Looks like Carlisle is going to be a last minute kind of deal as my sis in harrisburg, who I was planning on bunking, may not be with her boyfriend much longer
?! But this is a monthly occurence with them so who knows!
