As you may have read in a thread posted the other day, Corvettes at Carlisle sent me a letter stating that our reserved parking space for C3VR members would no longer be offered to us, starting this year.
|UPDATED|4/18/2013 5:58:31 AM (AZT)|/UPDATED|
After contacting them about this, they have agreed to give us the space again this year. However, in order to maintain this space for 2014 and beyond, we must have at least 20 people register for the Fun Field listing us as their "Corvette Club" on the online registration form. In the past year or two, another club with the name "C3 Registry" has appeared on the registration form. This is NOT our club.
To make sure you register correctly, on the Corvettes at Carlisle 2013 Fun Field Online Registration Form:
- Make sure to select "C3 Vette Registry, Official (C3VR)" from the Corvette Club selection box!
- Do NOT select "C3 Registry"!
- Registration fee increases on July, 22, 2013, so register before then!
- After you register, if you are on Facebook, join our Event page for this.
Hopefully we'll have over 20 people this year so we can continue to have our space in future years as well.
Also, I was told that they are looking to have club parking area designation printed on the Corvette @ Carlisle window stickers this year, which hopefully will help eliminate some confusion.
Finally, I was told that the amount of parking space allotted to our group is directly proportionate to the number of registrations which list "C3 Vette Registry, Official (C3VR)" as their Corvette Club. So if you don't list us on your form, don't expect to be able to park in our space.
Thank you for your cooperation and support in making sure our group can continue to park together!
