It is my opinion that it is disgusting that people felt it was ok to take these banners with them. I don't know who is responsible. I hope it wasn't C3VR members. Also, I think people get a "mob mentality" and if they see one person taking a banner, they think "ok, well, if he's doing it, I'm going to." I'm sure Mid America spent plenty of money to produce those banners. They hold this great event, largely for free. Food/drink prices are reasonable, they have a free concert and have plenty of cool stuff to do and see while you are at the show. People should have some respect for the host and leave their property alone.
I really hope this does not happen again next year.
Thank you for listening to my rant.

Adam,

C3VR Founder
Adam,
Jim,
I certainly can't speak for those that were at the tent by the parking area... but as for me, I apologize for not spending more time talking to you or if it seems like I ignored you and brushed you aside. Depending on what time you stopped by, it was pretty crazy at the booth and I was trying to direct my attention to about 10 different things at the same time. I met many people and had only moments to spend with each.
I did see other new (and potential) members talking with existing members, so I know people weren't specifically ignoring new members.
I apologize on behalf of myself and the other members for not making you feel welcome. I think as with any organization, it is more comfortable for people to talk with people they already know. So, the more you get to know us and we get to know you, the more comfortable everyone will feel.

Like Jimmy said, I"m having a hard time with it being C3VR members. It sounds very unlike folks in our group.

I can tell by these responses that you are definitely not the folks I ran into. I must apologize. I really felt that the people I spoke with didn't care if I was there are not. And I agree it didn't seem like the folks we had so much fun cutting up with the year before.
My apologies, I am sure Adam is correct. I must have tried to cozy up to the CAC folks. I didn't see any C3VR shirts except when you'all were in the booth. And, that did seem pretty hectic.
