My sources are telling me that the reference to the city east of here city is Indianapolis... LOTS OF BARTERING GOING ON! Big $$$ is at the table.
This would make good sense for the Motorsports Capital of the World to hold this event.
Bob don't be discouraged Indy will sleep just fine under the car cover at nite!
A few of the gang are here and we had a good time at the grounds and eating last nite. We have the booth ready to go and the Club tent(s) are up (THANKS BUTCH!)
One of our members has a beautiful surprise they brought out into the perfect weather! I will five you a clue but not the answer. It's old has 4 wheels is drop dead gorgeous and is faster than all get out!
I will get some pics today and try to get them posted tonight. Take care all!!!
Oh please brother Tux tell Mike Uncle Terry says go for Indy. Only 4 1/2 hr drive form here as opposed to 7 1/2. Mamma might OK the trip if its that close.
I know what the beautiful suprise is cause I got people. I won't tell anyone. However slight hint. You need 2 pair of undies when riding in it.

Well I have some bad news and some good news.... Lets start with the good.
Yesterday was absoloutely drop dead gorgeous. Everybody here is having a great time! We all enjoyed a great dinner and had some late evening laughs around the fountain last night.
Now for the bad news... My camera took a dump and I won't be posting pics. I know that Butch, Marshall, and Mike have all takem pics so hopefully they will post some or send them to me and I will post them.
Either way ypi aren't gonna get to see em just yet. I am really sorry about that!

That's it? Geez. You had me worried there.
Glad you're all having a good time.
Wish I was there!

We had a great time for the little while we were able to be there for. Got there late due to car malfunction and had to leave early due to heat. The girlfriend could not take it, so we did not get to enjoy the festivities too long.... But Will be makin this a full 3 day event next year no matter where it is. I will put a slide show of what I got up. It aint much but at least its somethin till tux can get his sorted out.

Nice slideshow WIll.... I will be able to shoot some pics Sunday and hopefully.... Show got rained out this evening but it was late in the day. Hopefully Sunday will be beautiful and make up for it.
Just a thought
Has anyone ever tried / thought of setting up a laptop at one of these huge events to show off the C3VR online? I've thought about this for our huge "All Corvette Show" here in WA but I don't think any of us have that capability with a laptop. All you need is a laptop with a cell phone adapter and service don't ya?

We did it last year at Funfest. I was going to do that this year however when Hurrecane Ike rolled through here last week it damaged Mid Americas Wi Fi. Good suggestion though Mark!

just thought I would pose one more question. There is one picture in the slide show of a c3vr members car. Can anyone determine which one? Tux You will probably be able to spot it first since the car was next to yours. Ill post the answer tommorrow.
