Buy, Sell, and Swap at Mid America Motorworks Swapfest
Open to ALL car makes and models!
Effingham, IL (October 2008) - On Saturday, October 11, 2008, Mid America Motorworks will host its eleventh bi-annual Swapfest. Automotive enthusiasts of every type have the chance to explore thousands of parts and memorabilia to buy, sell and swap, as well as meet other collectors at the Mid America Motorworks corporate campus on North Route 45 in Effingham, Illinois.
"Swapfest is quickly becoming a 'must attend' event. Finding great bargains is just part of the reason. People really enjoy meeting and having fun with other automotive enthusiasts at Swapfest," said Mike Yager, the company’s Chief Cheerleader. "We have just completed upgrading our swap meet facility with new roads plus expanded and improved swap spaces. This is an important and growing part of our hobby. Don’t miss it!"
Any automotive parts, accessories, or memorabilia can be offered for sale, regardless of make or model. To keep the real swap meet feel, only used parts are allowed. There is no charge to attend Swapfest, which runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition to the swap meet, there will be a “Car for Sale Corral” for those wanting to sell their vehicles.
A 20' x 20' exhibit space is available for $40 each, unlimited spaces available. Anyone wishing to sell a vehicle at the Swapfest "Car for Sale Corral" can do so for a non-refundable fee of $25 per vehicle. Exhibitor set up will begin at 7:00 a.m.
Attendees can also purchase Mid America Motorworks' returned, scratched and discontinued merchandise at special discount prices, plus buy new parts and accessories with free ground shipping.
Mid America Motorworks Swapfest is held each year in the spring and fall. Next year’s Spring Swapfest will be held May 2, 2009.
