Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses. 2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
Just wanted everyone here at C3VR to know that Mike put up a post late yesterday on Facebook saying he was going in for open heart surgery.  Since then, Laurie (his wife) has put up a couple of updates and it sounds like everything went well and Mike is recovering as expected.

I knew the folks here who know Mike would want to know.  I would give more info, but that's all I've got.  As I get more info, I'll pass it along.

Hope everything is ok. Mike is a true class act. A while ago when he was at one of the chat room nights I really enjoyed talking to him. It is so refreshing to meet someone who is so passionate about his business. Please relay my best wishes!

Best Wishes to Mike and his clan...they be some good folk. Maybe it was just time for a "tune-up"...

I was thinking of sending an actual get well card, but in addition to that, since Adam does have a C3VR account on facebook, he could send a note from everyone here wishing a speedy recovery.

Guess that Mike needed a tune-up.  Clean the carbs, change the oil, and set the timing.  His facbook page says he is doing ok.  I'll see him in September.
