I received this from Henk van Dogen Mid America's Director of Marketing:

We got a message from Mike late yesterday that Mike was released from the hospital Monday December 28th and is comfortably recuperating at home.

Mike asked that we tell everyone thank you for your prayers and thoughts and wish everyone a safe, happy and healthy 2010. And, of course, he concluded his email saying “Hugs, Mike”.

We are trying to keep everyone informed as much as possible via our Facebook at www.facebook.com/corvettepassion

Thanks,
Henk

"Happy New Year (eve) I am one week post op today and feeling very well. Sore yes! This was a result of a routine checkup and one that possible saved my life! You can guess how I will be "preaching"! Thanks to all who have posted, sent emails etc. Each one is a treasure! Hugs, Mike"

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Got this in an email the other day:

December 29, 2009

Dear Adam,

As you may have heard, last week our Chief Cheerleader at Mid America Motorworks, Mike Yager, underwent a quadruple bypass surgery. The surgery was planned, albeit quickly, and not an emergency one. The operation went well and the doctors are very happy with the progress Mike is making.

We are happy to report that Mike was released from the hospital Monday December 28th and is comfortably recuperating at home. Mike is in the care of Laurie and their kids; he couldn’t be in better hands. We are sure that between his family care and Mike’s eternal optimism, he will have a speedy recovery.

Mike asked that we tell everyone thank you for your prayers and thoughts and wishes everyone a safe, happy and healthy 2010.  And, of course, he concluded his email saying “Hugs, Mike”.

The employees at Mid America Motorworks will continue the plans that have been set in motion for 2010 and beyond and will make Mike proud of the company he and his family have built. They look forward to his return to work in two months.

Please send any well wishes and comments toGetWellMike@mamotorworks.com .

Warmest Regards,

The Entire Mid America Motorworks Family
