Just for information: I coat all my outdoor light bulbs with Never-Seize (I call it never sneeze). This allows removal of the old bulbs easily after many years. Before using this I've had bulbs that broke apart while trying to remove them. After the bulb breaks, there is a lot of work trying to get the screw-in socket base out. In the past I even had to replace some of the sockets part due to the seizure. With Never Seize........that doesn't happen. Man, this sounds like some sort of commercial or something. There are of course many different manufactures of anti-seize compounds, but they all work the same.

Naw, tasted bit too metallicy
I use it to coat blower shafts that were cleaned down to bare metal. After everything was re-installed blower wheels and scrolls...coated the shaft to keep from rusting and ease of down the road repairs. They sell it in aerosol cans that can be sprayed. Also used Boeshield T9 (like WD40)) to protect stuff from corroding up.
