I presume it's a 3100 series V6.?

From the 2.8L to the 3.4L 60 degree V6's, they seem to all have that piston slap noise wether it has 10K or 110K on them. In the past 8 years at my buddies used car dealership, I haven't wrenched on a quiet GM 60 degree design V6 yet.
 
I wouldn't worry about it.
