Ok, I've been trying to get set up with Picasa, and maybe I just can't figure it out, so I'll just put in more links...

I thought I'd share some of the more interesting vehicles and just some nice pix I've gotten recently between a local cruise in and the Super Chevy Show here in Indy.

This was a custom box someone built for their late C3.  The whole thing isn't stereo, as a matter of fact, they said they had enough room for their T-Tops under it still.  I thought it was nicely done.

This is a 74 that was just beautiful.  I asked if the paint was fresh and the owner told me it was less than 4 months old.  They got 74/75 lettering on an 80-82 style tail.  He told me he thought they were also available with the split, but I've never even seen them with the indentations for the letters!  I've always thought that if I were to do something like that (say, in 30 years...) that I would want to keep the car's "butt crack!"

When I saw this thing, I had to ask the owner, "what makes you want to do something like that?"  He took it in the good-natured way it was inteneded and told me that he wanted to put the biggest engine he could in the smalest car he could find.  The result - this dragstrip Geo!!  He did tell me that he had to stretch the doghouse to make this work

This 67 Camaro is not an actual Pace Car.  The guy had all of the paint re-done, then copied the decals from pictures.  He then struck gold when he found the flags in a museum warehouse here in Indy.

Lastly, here's two Fieros I found interesting.  The first is apparently a kit called an XTC.  I did not get pictures of the C4 tail lights used (sorry TuxLOL), and the pictures aren't close up enough to see the paint job this guy said he did in his garage (I believe it).  The next doesn't look like anything different from the outside, but this was at Super Chevy since it used a Chevy engine (wonder what kind of shoehorn they used for that!!)

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Wow.  I guess I'd better figure out what I'm doing.  That's my second post (at least) today where only the last picture worked.

I've re-done all the links and they all seem to work now.

Loved the vette pics Marshall ( even though I value my space more than that much sound LOL). I sure like the looks of those later rear bumpers  and that color is one of my favorites.
