I just read all about this. They mentioned that there wasn't a dry eye anywhereCry. My condolences to his family and all of his friends

I know they say that the drivers know the chances they are taking, but it's still a real shock and tragedy when something horrible like that happens.  We can only pray for him and his friends and family.

There have been a lot of "day after" experts saying this and saying that about the causes of the wreck.  Bottom line is - wrecks are going to happen.  Driver safety has increased tremendously in recent generations of race cars, regardless of venue.  Still, any loss of life is a sad thing.  A loss not only to his family but to the whole racing community.

What a shame.  I watch very few races but, the Indy 500 is on every year at my house.  He was a
real class act and a true pro.  Very sad.
