Just wondering, has anybody seen $4 gas for regular yet,
besides in the small towns?
I see the Barrel of Oil continues to go up and is over 124 as I write.
I paid 3.70 yesterday for regular in Klamath Falls OR.
And it is interesting to note, Oregon has NO State Sales Tax.

Sorry...I didn't know that was a bad word.

I know the voices aren't real, but they have some pretty cool ideas...

It's about $3.55/Gal here right now. It cost me over $55. yesterday to fill the vette. MAN, something's gotta be done, but what? Not much while we still have an oilman in the White House.

As someone who worked at the Federal level to deal with the first energy crises 34 years ago, I can say with certainty that high oil prices are here to stay. We were confronted with the energy equivalent of Pearl Harbor back then--twice--and since then we've done almost nothing to address the emergency. As I've told anyone who'd listen: second only to nuclear war, this is the single most critical national security issue America faces. It's no exaggeration to say that our basic way of life hangs in the balance--and the fact that our national leadership in both parties have willingly turned their backs to this crisis for three decades is truly a disgrace, and a terrible disservice to this country. The effects of $4-plus gasoline have only begun to be felt here; prepare to see a great deal more negative economic impact as the full weight of that burden falls on us all. If America was really serious about addressing the issue, I'd at least feel some hope. But the fact that Congress didn't even extend the measly $2,000 solar energy tax credit speaks volumes about how far our heads are stuck in the sand when it comes to energy policy. Sad that America has become so incapable of stepping up and accomplishing what we've been capable of doing in the past. Where's the national outrage over the fact that we're funding nations with our oil dollars that fundamentally oppose our basic values?
