Many of you may already be aware of this but I just found out a few minutes ago. Boyd Coddington has died. I really liked some of his hot rod designs and hate to hear of his death.

Sorry to hear that. I saw him at the Good Guys show in Kansas City a couple years ago. Had some nice cars he designed. RIP and God Bless.

Wow! What a surprise.......didn't think he would die this soon.......it always shocks me when someone I've seen or known passes!
I used to watch him yell & fire his employees all the time. Some of the ones he fired went to other car programs. Thanks for the info, Crossfire.

Very, very sad. Like him or not he was a huge contributor to the hobby and industry. He was clearly a visionary and a guy who made ideas into reality. His creations continue to bring big numbers wherever they are sold. I will miss Boyd.

He certainly was in his later years....
I remember Boyd from years ago when I was a running with the street-rod crowd. Met him a few times at some rod runs. One in particular, he was feeling no pain(
), and was having fun tossing everyone that walked by in the pool at the hotel....whether they were with us(Street Rodders) or NOT!
He could certainly get under your skin if ya let him, but back then(mid '70s), he wasn't the famous Boyd Coddington....he was just Boyd the perfectionist. I remember the first time one of his cars won the "Most Beautiful Roadster" award....he was speechless.
Ride on, Boyd...ride on...
