Found this a while back and thought it was really neat. Can't wait to see what this old timer looks like when it sees daylight for the first time in 50 years on June 15th. They say it was preserved with the best of technology for the day back in '57.
Anyone care to make an educated guess as to what the old Belvedere will look like when she rises from her vault?

I would like to know the outcome Myself.
Now, who would ever thought that a Plymouth would rust?
Also whomever inherits the car, does this person also pay the parking ticket?
I had one like that in 64...different color...gold & white. should be interesting & a rare car.
Alan
I would guess that there will be some surface rust, the rubber parts are dried out, hard and cracked, the five gallons of gas have evaporated, the gum is stale and the tires are flat.
I'll take the $100 bond.

I posted this in our local car club newsletter a couple of months ago. We have some MOPAR enthusiasts and I'd love to be kept informed of the outcome. If anyone goes there to see the exhuming of the car and takes some pics, please send me some.
I heard yesterday from a resident liveing in area of the car that it will be taken out and left in its vault and put on a truck and taken to a center of some sort in town and set up for display. Also to get in to see it will be $10-$25 each depending what kind of location you want. What a bummer.
