Vette(s): 1980 L-48 still in the middle of a frame-off.
So the right rear caliper decides to freeze up on my Mazda6 wagon.  Since it has 140k mi I will do both sides.  2 calipers @ 85ea, 2 rotors @ 24ea, and pads @32.

For the life of me I could not get the old rotors off.  I beat them, sprayed them, and heated them cherry red...no go.  I had to order 2 new axel hubs @ 110ea.

Put everything back together, it looks sooo shiney.  Bleed brakes multiple times....no good.  Now I am ordering a new master cylinder. 94.00.   Had another car do this to me too.  Waiting on m/c.

At the same time my water heater let go while I was not home. Grrrr not now!!  986.00 its fixed but water went everywhere.  Looked at old heater and found a small leak in the back of it also besides the big one.

Seems to have been dripping for quite some time.  I have to replace 1/3 of the flooring and 1/2 the wall panels due to moisture and mold.

All I want is a repair free Christmas.

I feels yer pain, my man! Water heater explosions ain't no fun attall!!
On the rotors...front or rear? Did you happen to notice a small, Phillips head screw in them anywhere around the hub area? Most have a fastener of some sort to keep them attached to the hub from the factory.....just throwing that out there....little late now, but it might help in the future.Wink

These were the rears.  The rotors had 2 screws which I removed.  The M/C should be here Thurs afternoon.

The key lock for the locking lug nuts broke too.  Got to get a key from the dealer, no one else carries them.

Life goes on.
