Driving back from Louisville, KY today, and the 99 Accord hit 100,000 miles. WooHoo! Already done the major 100K service, and it still drives like new. Should be good for another 100K. It feels like it's putting money back in my pocket every time I drive it Happy 4th eveyone!

How extensive was the 100k service?  Its amazing how cars are starting to last a longer time on the road. Good luck with your car.

Corvettes and women are the same...You want to make love to them but they keep breaking down.

Woo Hoo gratz, my 2002 Dodge Dakota (daily driver) just went over 100k a bit a go. I didn't even know it until the Dodge dealer told me I had over 100k when I test drove the 2006 Charger

My daily driver,a 1997 S-10 Blazer is turning 280,000 in a couple of days.  My wife wants me to buy a new truck this fall but why should I when the old one still starts everyday and has a kick when I hit the gas.  I'll drive it till the wheels literly fall off.  (I did that with my S-10 pickup then fixed the front end and my son drove it for 3 more years.  By then it was fill the oil and check the gas when we pulled into the gas station.

Indy: Changed all fluids, belts (including timing - what a pain), and hoses. Replaced half-shafts with rebuilts and new half shaft boots, replaced struts, flushed brake fluid, new shoes all around, adjusted valves, new plugs, new front O2 sensor. That's all I can remember off the top of my head - I'd have to break out the logbook for the rest. I do remember that when I went to adjust the valves, there was no sludge built up inside the valve cover. Changing the oil every 3000 miles really pays off.

my 94 chrysler concorde has 225,000 on it, and still drives and runs fine! still gets 25-26 mpg and hardly uses any oil! the only problem with the car is that ive worn the steering wheel and all the knobs and switches down! at this point, it owes me nothing!

Yep, you pretty much do the maintenance on them and cars last forever, except the throw away Geo's and the like.

My favorite ( still is ) car I used for business was the BIG GM wagons. I did most of the work myself, and each one ( 3 ) lasted well into the 200K mark. None of them had an engine or transmission replacement. I took a photo too when she hit 200K!!!

The Pontiac 1989 Safari Wagon ( Woodie !!!! ) was the last and I had to give r' up at 238 K - all that armor started peeling off and got real ugly fast.

The daughter is running the wife's Honda Accord ( 91 ) and it has 187K, I'm certain it'll make 200K and beyond with no problem - if she does not kill it with carelessness.

Send us a pic when she hits 200K !!!

This is like anything else, you keep them up and they will run for a very long time.  Our 2000 Honda Accord has over 120,000 on it with out any issues.  The 110,000 mile service was a pricey, but worth it, since it is now ready to go to the 110,000 mile service point.  My son has a 95 Pontiac Sunfire with over 170,000 miles on it, and its still going strong.

My '82 Vette has 99,980 right now. Gotta carry the camera in the Vette now to record 00000.0, no matter where I am. WOOO HOOOO!!!
