I didn't powder coat, but I did put my valve covers in the oven for a while after I painted them.

Yipes, I can relate to the bath-tub. I have cleaned/soaked/de-antifreezed the carpet from her side of the car when the heater core went on the fritz and her feet got a nasty red rash on them. She understood, but still made me use thoes scrubbing bubbles to get it clean. I need to clean the trim on the inside soon. I'll wait till she goes shopping.
Never!! Clean up vomit with her vacuum cleaner. Especially when its 2 weeks before she uses it again, in the summer when the temp has been around 90 degrees every day................ Oh and if you do, don't store the vac in a small closet for that period of time.

Ohhh that reminds me, I need to bury those two dead guinea pigs in my freezer now that the ground is thawed out. Thanks guys

Using a pillow from the living room couch to rest your head while lying on the dirty garage floor can get you in deep trouble too. Especially if you're changing the oil...
