Vette(s): 1972 conv., sunfire yellow, blk interior, blk vinyl and convertible top. Off frame restoration with American Speed 383 stroker engine producing 500hp plus a 200hp NOS system. MSD ignition. Hooker super competition headers with chambered exhaust.

I still go there to watch my son run his car and once a year they have an "Old Days Drags" event were only cars older than '80 can run. It's a lot of fun, alot of the guys I know from cruise nights run there cars that day.
They were going to close down but the kids saved them when they started a Friday night street racing event and tons of kids showed up with there imports and what not and put them in the black. They added a Wed. night and packed them in, but the people in the area complained and they had to stop the Wed. night thing. I hope they stay open it's a lot of fun.

Drag strips are like drive-in theaters.  There's getting fewer and fewer of them.  It's a real shame too !!

I never did find it, but a search for "Carrier Drag Racing" on You Tube did result in some cool aircraft crash videos.
