Vette(s): 1978 Silver Anniversary L82 4spd (M21) Red Leather. Pace Car is in the hands of a new caretaker.
Had a 57 Chev pickup in High school. My brother totaled it.
Still have a 41 since high school that I been restoring, it is a 30 year process.Rolling%20On%20The%20Floor%20LaughingRolling%20On%20The%20Floor%20Laughing  At least I was smart enough to buy a Vette that needed little.
Looks like a nice truck in pretty good shape. Here in Maine a tree would be growing up through the hood.

Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses. 2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
At my company picnic today, I was speaking to a guy about my convertible.  His wife asked him, "does so-and-so still have his Vette?"  He said that no, he had gotten rid of it, but still had his old 50's truck.

My friend's son (maybe seven years old) then said "He got rid of a Corvette and kept a truck?!"

Tim, please don't let that happen to you!  That does look like a fun project though

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Not to worry.  I get too attached to my my vehicles for that.  Especially the ones I have to build.  The Vette will still be the King of the garage!

Spent many a day in a restored 58 like that back in the 70's. It sits quitely in his days barn now all covered up. I haven't seen it for a long time. It had chrome rally wheels on it with a white roll & pleated interior. It was the same color as yours. 3 on the tree 6 cyl combo like Joel mentioned. Equipped with a Pioneer Super Tuner. Pretty nice piece of work then. Don't know about now..... Tuxblacray2007-07-10 13:32:32

Starting on the truck soon.  I had to complete a guest house on my property for my 83 year old mother.  Just moved her last week and am still finishing some bits and pieces.  I did get it started for a few seconds on a carb full of gas.
