You aint heard nothing yet. How about $1.65 for "super"? True, but that is for a litre and a U.S. gallon is almost 4 litres. Do the math, its almost $7.00, Cry and the best they "give" you is 94 octane. My fathers Olds had stock 10.5-1 compression and would have pinged till the cows came home on this pi$$. Come for a visit to Quebec. NOT!!!! DeadDeadDead

Well I ventured into town and filled my truck and all my gas cans,, I paid 3.69,, ,, Its amazing to me that all 6 stations in town can drop the price ,, The new Murphys was doing a grand opening special, it will last about 10 days and then they will all be right back up there, We have people coming from the next county to fill up,,we will enjoy it while it lasts,rd

Hey Rick - Don't want to burst the bubble but very often when new Stores open their doors for business, they low ball the gas price for  a week or two. This announces they are open and creates a lot of positive attention for the Store. In 30 to 45 days, they'll probably have a grand opening. Lots of hoopla and promotional prices most likely around stuff they sell inside the Store. Then life will return to normal. Get the gas while the getting is good. Smile

We also have stations playing the cash and credit prices game now. I pulled into a station to fill up today and "plus" was 3.99. When I handed him my Amex card to fill up, it was jacked up tp $4.10.

This is one of the times someone needs to call the local or Fed. Gov't. They said if they fouond stations price gouging they would do something about it. If they coulod afford to drop their price to match the "new" station, they should be able to keep it down there.

Ok here in Vancouver, WA Chevron, 76, & Shell all have regular for $4.35. I gassed up my Vette this evening at Chevron and it was 6.193 Gal. @ $4.359 came to $27.00 and that was only a half a tank.Dead Wow who would have thought a gallon of gas would cost more than a cup of Starbuck's coffee.LOL

CryThe last time I heard GAS WARS, was in 1973. I was in line for over an hour to fuel a '65 SS. I was in Uncles ARMY and headed home on a week-end pass. 18 mpg on a good runnin 327. I am guessin the price was LESS than a buck. The pump shuts off at 100.00 today, and not full at 4.06 per.
