Two days before I left for Funfest, the place in town that usually has the lowest prices was at $4.19!!

This morning, driving by, they were at $2.65.  The sad thing is that  even that price is well above what many of us would have ever thought we would pay.

I guess I should be happy it's not still in the $4 range.  I have put $4 gas in the Vette, but not in my truck yet.  I have been lucky enough to get filled up before it skyrockets.  If not, I've taken the bus or ridden my bike.  Hope it doesn't get up high like that this winter!

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Gas stations along Lancaster Ave in Fort Worth have been waging a price war for a while.  This morning were all about $2.629 and $2.639.  Elsewhere around town $2.899 to $3.059.  I was in Atlanta, Ga yesterday and paid $3.599 at a Shell station near the Airport when I went to top off the rental car.  I never figured we'd see gas under $3.00 ever again when economists had figured out that consumption had taken its downturn around $3.25.  I figured the market had found its equilibrium there.  But I didn't figure on a global economic meltdown.

Check this site out www.water4gas.com  I heard about this site over the past weekend, he said that he tried it on his 1989 Chevy pick up and said it worked, haven't tried it yet but am going to look into it for more info.

John, Did you sign up to do this? I sent in to give it a whirl... Looks like the line mower is gonna be subjected once again to yet another test.

I have heard of it and I think I know a fellow a couple of blocks from here doing this. Will see in the near future huh?
