Vette(s): 74 coupe 4 speed 350, 54K actual miles, all original; paint, interior, engine, split bumper. #'s match. 2nd owner, no stress cracks.
I have a friend with a 92 Toyota Pickup with 4 cylinder 22R fuel injected engine with 200,000 miles and is hard to start.  Engine does not burn any oil and good compression.  Runs smooth and has plenty of power once started.  Has been well maintained and oil changed every 3000 miles.

Any ideas:  Dirty injectors?  Never have been cleaned I think
                  Needs new fuel filter?
                  Faulty or worn  fuel pump?

Any ideas will be appreciatedClap.  Thanks     steve

Vette(s): 1981 red with silver interior,350(L-81), 350TH, glass t-tops, aluminium rims, 1980 Black/ Black int., 350 GM crate engine/350TH, 1976 black/ saddle int., L-82 w/headers, holly carb, Hypertech ignition
I would start looking in those areas as well as fuel pressure.  Engine may not be developing enough fuel pres.  to atomize the fuel when starting but is to do so once its started.  check plugs to see if they are wet and take fuel pressure reading.  dirty injectors can cause similar problem(poor atomization)

Definitely check the fuel pressure while cranking. This is normally the culprit.
