That is wild! I don't think I want to be a spectator
to many flying parts

My god that was awsome

Love those peal-away bodies on the Funny Cars. But what I want to know is, how far did that tire actually go

My wife thought I was prayin until she heard the music. She could'nt figure out why I kept sayin Oh My God.... It is unreal what these guys have lived through! Thanks Paul, totally awsome. A great find!
I can't imagine sitting behind 1200HP and strapped into 1200 pounds of car and having it explode in your face.
Are these people crazy?

That video link was pretty awesome!
YIKES!
I wouldn't want to be in the seat when a car explodes/catches on fire...........too much heat for a quick body rush.

Holy s#^t

After viewing all this carnage, I am wondering....
Why the NHRA does not require debris fences on top of retaining walls....

Why anyone would ever even consider backing out of a garage without a wearing a seat belt....

Having spent 30+ years in SCCA Club Racing and having been a first responder to some pretty horrific crashes, I am continuously amazed at what a driver can survive and how well the safety equipment actually works.
I am with you Joel....don't do that crap on the streets anymore....statisfied my need for competition on the race track....although I still like to punch it once a while....just to blow the cobwebs out of the secondaries...

There is no substitute for low end torque!
