Well, fellers, and fellerettes...I have a confession.
My job sometimes(otay...MOST of the time
) requires me to drive stuff I really don't wanna drive. Today was no different. We got a late model Musturd, DOHC, BLOWN, SVT Cobra(whew...) in da shop for a clutch problem. I was forced to go drive it to see if it was a clutch, or the automatic adjuster for the clutch cable. Reluctantly, I did as I was told.

S.O.B!!!!!! That little POS will RUN!
I've driven a few C5s with blowers, and hair dryers, and I've driven some Nitrous cars. I'm tellin ya, that CobraTurd is miles ahead. This thing just blew me away(no pun intended). I laid two stripes down the road at least a quarter mile...in 3rd gear, at 50mph, before I had to back out of it. (I almost had something in me pants...but not from bein askeered.
)
What a friggin RUSH! It's the most exciting acceleration I've EVER felt in a street car. I have to say, I'm impressed...just don't tell anyone I said that.
This car was absolutely un-friggin-believable. It's still a POS Musturd, but...it's a FAST POS Musturd!
What a bummer to have to drive home in da Mercedes diesel( 83 ground poundin, fire breathin, tire smokin, earth shakin horsepower
) after that.
Reckon Mama will let me put a huffer on the '85 when I get ready to build it ? Please-oh-please-oh-please!!!
Forgive my gushing...if it don't rain tomorrow, I'll have to get one of the Vettes out for a drive for my pennence for lavishing such praise on a F..F....F.....ferd...(there, I said it)
Anyone else driven one of these things? Or OWN one?

WOW that scared me. I don't much guess it was the clutch to lay down a quarter mile of rubber in 3rd gear.
I know a guy who has one and wants me to play with him. I'm a thinkin I will stay home

So yer neighbor has a blown SVT? Dynoed @435? AT LEAST!
I tell ya...fer such a small engine, that little ba#@$*d will MOVE!
No, I think the clutch is otay on dis one! It did need a cable, tho. It HAD new tars on da back when it got there...
Ken, I think you might want to shy away from runnin against one, unless you got something in yer car I don't know about...like a Fuel engine!
I don't have a clue what the "specs" are on the blown CobraTurds, but they gotta be sweet. Too bad they put it in such a pos car! I think it's the same engine set-up that's in the GTs. I can just imagine what THAT must be like!

My neighbors car is a 2004 SVT cobra with a 4.6 DOHC and supercharger. Like I said, it's rated at 390hp but is actually underated at the factory. His dynos between 430 and 435. They just can't hook up with street tires.
